If you are a frequent flyer or a constant traveler, you’ve probably dealt with a lot of airline security, protocols and guides. The airport is one of the busiest place on earth and because of that, all things should be kept under strict protocols and schedules. You see a lot of security guys roaming around the airport looking at the luggage with their sniffing dogs. If you are reading this while inside the airport, or planning a trip, here’s a good read to pass the time. Here are some interesting facts about airports and airlines collected throughout the years.

- The world’s busiest airport is the Hartsfiled-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, and apparently they are the biggest airport as well.
- The deadliest and the biggest airplane crash in the history is September 11 attack in 2001 that killed thousands of people on the plane, the World Trade Center as well as the Pentagon.
- The Beijing International Airport was ranked as the #1 most beautiful airport in the world.
- The biggest airline in the world by scheduled passengers carried is Delta Airlines.
